Pfarrkirche Lembach
Lembach im Mühlkreis, Oberösterreich, Österreich

- All weather
- Suitable for groups
- Suitable for pushchairs
The centre of the church is the black marble altar, which is clearly visible from all sides. A beautiful wooden cross stands in front of it.
The tabernacle, made of steel and gilded by Franz Premetshofer, stands freely on a marble column. The eternal light burns behind it.
The concrete glass windows created by Lydia Roppolt in the Schlierbach workshop are particularly colourful.
Behind the baptismal font hangs a picture of St Margarita, the patron saint of the parish. It shows the martyr with her typical attributes - sword, dragon and a small cross.
At the side at the beginning of the nave hangs a picture of Christ, which recalls the visions that Sister Faustyna Kowalska had in a convent in Plock (Poland) in 1931.
Between a baroque STATUE OF JOSEPH WITH THE CHILD OF JESUS and a STATUE OF MARY, which Father Pilz brought back from Fatima, hangs a group of the Holy Trinity, known as the "mercy seat", a popular depiction in the Middle Ages. The work of redemption of the Triune God is depicted in short form.
In the former apse, 14 Stations of the Cross frame a crucifixion group with Mary and John.
