The Kirchberg or "Kiraberg"
The highest elevation in the municipality is the Kiraberg (852 m) in the village of Stiftung. There are remains of walls on the Kiraberg that indicate a former stone building. People say that a mendicant once wanted to build a church here. However, it is likely that there was a small castle here that fell into oblivion. What is also striking is that there is a house name Meier (Burmer - Burgmeier Lamm) nearby. The normal access to the Kiraberg is from the tailor's farm in the foundation (Hager, foundation no. 8). If you want to take a special treat with you when climbing the Kiraberg, take the Himmelsstiege from the Lamm.
