Knight Rapot von Sponheim Ortenburg...
Built 1140 on the eastern side of the Koloman's hill the Wildeneck castle as seat of the government for the region around the Mondsee and Irrsee lakes. In the late 16th century the castle was already deserted and delapitated. Nowadays only few sparely rests bring the former high period to mind.
