Landesmusikschule Ried im Innkreis

The Landesmusikschule Ried i. I. has the cultural-political task of laying the foundations for a life with music - this means that children, young people and adults find joy in making music through their lessons, that they become conscious listeners who understand music and are thus able to participate in society and take an active part in musical life even after the training period. The music school in Ried i.I. has branches in Eberschwang, Mettmach, Taiskirchen i.I. and Waldzell.

The OÖ. Landesmusikschulwerk has been a role model for music education institutions with a human educational mission throughout Europe for more than 30 years. One of the main aims of the music school's work is to inspire young people to actively make music and to learn to use music and dance independently. Those who get to know themselves better through making music and dancing open up more easily to others and strive for a sense of community, which enhances the musical experience.
