In the grounds of the large Scherer millstone quarry, the STEINBRECHERHAUS, built around 1802, has been preserved almost in its original state. In 2006, the "Steinbrecherhaus Association" acquired the house and carefully restored it. The stone crusher house was opened in 2007 as a millstone museum and a venue for cultural events.
