Requirements for membership: Children from the age of around 9 can learn a wind instrument or percussion instrument and make music in an ensemble with other beginners via our "Wind Class" project alongside their music lessons at the regional music school. After about a year of lessons, the children and young people can join our youth wind orchestra. The bronze performance badge is a prerequisite for joining the Trachtenmusikkapelle. This applies equally to children/young people and adults. Membership fee: No membership fee is payable. The musicians are provided with the instrument and the costume of the association. Meetings & rehearsals: We rehearse every Friday at 8.00 pm in our beautiful new rehearsal room in Zell am Moos. During the summer holidays, rehearsals always take place on Thursdays, as we play the evening concert on Fridays, alternating between the village square and Gasthof Seewirt. Participation: You can take part in a rehearsal by appointment or attend our concerts/performances, where you are welcome to contact us if you are interested. Events: - Spring concert every Friday & Saturday after Easter - Evening concerts from the beginning of July to the end of August (each Friday) - Village festival Zell am Moos, end of August We are always happy to welcome new members - whether young people who become part of our band immediately after receiving the bronze performance badge or adults who have moved to Zell am Moos and the surrounding area and enjoy music and the community!
