The Catholic church is picturesquely situated at the foot of the Sarstein.
The interior of the church
The listed Roman Catholic parish church in Obertraun is dedicated to the Holy Trinity . It was donated by Empress Maria Theresa in 1770. The barrel-vaulted hall with a 3/8 choir was then built in 1771.
St. Peter and St. Paul are depicted as statues on the high altar. Two pictures, painted by Johann Georg Dominikus Grasmair in 1740, show St. Jerome and St. John the Baptist.
