In summer, the Langbathsee is a popular swimming lake and excursion destination for families, those seeking relaxation, cyclists and hikers. In winter, walks are very popular, depending on the winter conditions. Please note that the circular paths are not cleared and may be icy in places. The parking of motorhomes or overnight stays in vehicles at the Vorderer Langbathsee is prohibited from 22:00 to 06:00 and will be penalised (there are two motorhome parking spaces in Ebensee). The pay machine nearby the toilets at Vorderer Langbathsee offers both cash and cashless payment. In addition to these payment options, it is also possible to pay with Easypark, but as there is no internet connection in this side valley, the ‘CameraPark’ menu must be activated beforehand. Payment procedure: -> The vehicle and its licence plate number are recorded by cameras on arrival -> Guests park, spend the time according to their interests -> At the end of your stay, enter the licence plate number at the parking machine, pay the calculated fee and everything is done -> If you have forgotten to pay the fee or if there is a technical problem with the machine, you can pay the outstanding fee online up to 48 hours later on the municipal homepage [www.ebensee.at](https://ecom.webhost.skidata.com/ecom/freeflow/paylater/MGEbensee).
