Music band Tiefgraben

The musical chapel Tiefgraben is one of the pillars of cultural life in the MondSeeLand

The Tiefgraben band was founded in 1926 with 24 musicians. The forerunner of the band was the so-called "Punzer Musi", a brass band that had been in existence since 1907. The main reason for its foundation was so that the fire brigades and returnees in the municipality of Tiefgraben could play independently with a band.
The band currently consists of around 50 members aged between 12 and 73 years.


Prerequisites for membership:
The prerequisite for joining the band is musical training and at least the bronze performance badge on a wind instrument or percussion.

Membership fee:
There is no membership fee to pay.

Meetings:
Rehearsals are always held on Fridays from 8pm to 10pm.

Participation:
Interested parties are always welcome to attend rehearsals!

Events:

• Summer concerts on the market square (always on Mondays at 8.30 pm in July & August)
• Miscellaneous concerts
• Traditional events e.g. morning pint
