Stadtwerkstatt

A place of the independend scene with an increasing field of action in the electronic and media space.

The Stadtwerkstatt, a city workshop, was founded by students of the University of Art Linz in 1979. At fi rst it came to life as an answer to the city‘s reconstruction plans for the city main square. Soon the Stadtwerkstatt became a centre of culture and communication. A variety of music, fine art and cultural events are performed here.
