The Museum tells the story of Neuhofen, its people and their work (tracing the area´s history from the Stone Age to today).A part of the exhibition is dedicated to the town´s most famous citizen, Georg of Derfflinger. He was born in Neuhofen in 1606 and died at the age of 89 in Gusow near Berlin.
Exhibits on display include vernacular tools and machinery, a special sundial that was created by Nikolaus Rugendas around 1700 as well as information and images of Neuhofen´s famous citizens.
