The parish church is dedicated to St Peter and St Paul Romanesque elements can be found on the north wall.
The one-bay, cross-ribbed vaulted choir dates back to the 14th century. The year 1521 can be seen on the central keystone in the vault of the Tragwein parish church.
The Gothic, two-aisled nave has a Romanesque predecessor on the same site. The church tower, built in the 15th century, is 35 metres high including the spire cross.
One of the five bells dates back to 1541.
