In the former Minorite monastery, there is now an exhibition on the early history of the town of Wels from the Neolithic period up to the time of the Bajuwaren (original name of the Bavarians). Particular attention is paid to the Roman era, which is very significant for Wels.
A time line that covers the years 0 AD to 500 AD provides visitors with an overview of Roman Times in Wels, in the entire Roman Empire and in civilizations of foreign continents.
