Kultur Gusenleithnerhof

Gusenleithnerhof farm is a traditional three-sided farmhouse in Austrian style.

The 500 year old farmhouse is a typical building of the Mühlviertel region. Its name, "Gusenleithnerhof", derives from the nearby Gusental valley.

You enter the extended courtyard by passing the entrance surrounded by a wall. On the right you find the farmhouse, the stables are located behind it and on the left you pass the smithy, the carriages and the machines. The farmhouse´s most precious possession is the traditional Austrian parlor dating back to the 19th century. Its wooden ceiling is decorated with the name of the family who has been owning the farm for many generations (Gusenleithner Family).

The former stables were renovated and reconstructed. Today they offer state-of-the-art facilities for meetings, seminars and conventions. Depending on the weather, also concerts are performed and films are shown in the beautiful inner courtyard.
