A mountain with numerous possibilities: Hiking, paragliding, mountain biking.
The new gondolas offer a pleasant level of comfort, a fantastic view and plenty of space. This makes the Zwölferhorn barrier-free and also easily accessible for families with children. In just 11 minutes, the new cable car overcomes the 908 metres in altitude up to St. Gilgen's local mountain.
The Zwölferhorn rises exactly 1522 metres above Lake Wolfgangsee and is transformed into a fantastically beautiful snowy landscape every winter. The distant views in the clear winter air are simply phenomenal and the Zwölferhorn cable car takes you to wonderful winter hiking trails in 11 minutes. And - the new cable car is barrier-free! Ski tourers can also look forward to fantastic conditions. The ascent from St. Gilgen takes 2.5 to 3.0 hours, depending on your speed and fitness level, and cosy refreshment stops await you along the way!
