The first church to be built was a small Romanesque church. Due to the size of the parish, the Romanesque church soon became too small. Therefore, a new large church in gothic style was built around the middle of the 15th century. A masterpiece of late Gothic with 18th century Baroque - The VÖCKLADOM! In the years 1977 -1961 a thorough interior renovation of the parish church took place. Old frescoes were uncovered during this process.
