The Herrgottsitz is located on hiking trail no. 80 approx. 1.5 km north-west of Schönau. The Lord God is said to have rested in the seat-shaped hollow at the top of the hill and looked out over the Mühlviertel hills with a gentle smile.
The Herrgottsitz can be hiked to at any time.
