Wernstein Castle

It is difficult to imagine how this Castle must have looked back in its hey days, as there are mainly restored remnants of the original structure left over.

The formerly even terrain was dug up around the building to create a deep and broad ditch.

All buildings open up to the doorway. A tower used to rise from the residential wing.

Only the partly demolished tower and few remnants of the longitudinal structure have survived over the course of time. Left from the entrance you´ll find today´s residential building.
