Kriegerdenkmal Schildorf

Kallham, Oberösterreich, Österreich
Schildorf war memorial
Schildorf is also interesting in the local history of Kallham. There is a wrought-iron cross there, created by master locksmith Ferdinand Raab from Neumarkt/H. in 1926, which commemorates the fierce defence battles that Kallham experienced as a temporary border community with Bavaria. It commemorates the battle with the Bavarians in 1704, when Kallham and the church went up in flames, and the year 1809, when there was an unfortunate and very bloody battle with the French.
