Holzkapelle Rappoltsberg

The wooden chapel in Rappoltsberg is estimated to be 300 years old, built of wooden blocks and clad with wooden shingles.
In 1984, it was moved from its old location behind the Öhlschuster family farm (Rappoltsberg 5) to its current location next to the road and restored.
The Madonna in the chapel was carved by Mr Öhlschuster.
