Marktgemeinde Haag am Hausruck

Our municipal office is a building that belongs to the entire population of Haag am Hausruck. It was completely renovated in 2015. During the planning and construction phase, care was taken to preserve the historical structure. The southern section of the building was partially demolished, creating space for an appealing garden - which particularly provides a dignified setting for weddings in the new wedding room.

 An engaged team adapted the topic "Herbert Bayer" and implemented it in the building. A focus is the use of the font "universal," designed by Bayer, for all signage in the building.  Herbert Bayer, born on April 5, 1900, in Haag am Hausruck, worked as a graphic designer, painter, architect, photographer, and typographer, and is to be considered an artist of worldwide renown.
