According to the chronicle, the former ‘Rabenbauerngut’ was rebuilt as a square farmstead in 1892 following a fire.
It has been family-owned since 1932, and from that time onwards was used both as a guesthouse and a butcher’s shop. In 1967, Charlotte and Helmut Bader took over the family business, ‘Gasthof und Fleischhauerei Laska’.
Many famous figures have honoured us with their presence and made themselves at home in our inn. Thomas Bernhard, for example, was one of our guests. He always reserved a table in the dining room. Gasthof Laska even became the setting for a scene in his novel *Das Kalkwerk* (1970).
In 2012, the long-established business was taken over by Mrs Hannelore Moser.
