Traunsteinhaus of the Naturfreunde

The funtionaries of the nature-lovers of location group Gmunden welcome you hearty! 14th August 1927 was the big day of the house-opening. More than 900 people were hiking at the top of mountain Traunstein to take part in the celebration-hours. Leopold Happisch war delivering the festival-speech. Since the spring-time 1997 is Kurt Resch the renter of the nature-lovers-house and entertain the mountain and nature lovers to a meal. 8th September 2002 was the celebratory remembrance of its 75years existence. We express our gratitude to the officers of the mountain rescue service and the alpine-gendarmes, who recovery and recieve casualties of mountain Traunstein under most difficult situations and often under commitment of their own lifes. The works at and in our house are not for a long time finished yet. We are going to install a capacious lightning arrester and rebuild the water supply.
