Welcome to the "Pühringerhütte" (mountain hut) in the middle of the "Totes Gebirge" mountain range!
The Pühringer Hut in the "Totes Gebirge" mountain range is an "Alpenvereins" Club hut located at 1637 m above sea level, close tot the "Elmsee" lake.
We are also located on the Salzkammergut Mountains and Lakes Trail, a long-distance hiking trail, with the two alpine stages
BergeSeen Trail Stage 33: Gößl am Grundlsee - Pühringerhütte
and
BergeSeen Trail Stage 34: Pühringerhütte - Welser Hütte
Hut opening times: beginning of June - end of September - open all day
Winter room open - door is a little stuck, please push firmly, otherwise we ask for careful handling of the infrastructure!
