Just a few minutes from Lake Mondsee, in the heart of the Salzkammergut and close to Salzburg, lies the Hotel Eichingerbauer. Run by the third generation of the Sperr-Lehrl family, the hotel is characterized by personal service, a fine sense of detail and an atmosphere that is palpable from the very first moment.
In addition to offers such as the EichSPA, massages & cosmetics, tennis and plenty of space for relaxation, one thing in particular takes center stage: the cuisine. It is an essential part of the hotel - for hotel guests and day guests alike.

Ingenious & regional
The cuisine follows a clear approach: respectful cooperation with partners & suppliers, fair trade and a conscious use of resources. Mainly products from the Salzkammergut and Salzburger Land are used, supplemented by game specialties from our own farm. The dishes combine Austrian cuisine with contemporary creativity. Awarded two Falstaff forks and listed as a Gault & Millau insider tip, this is a kitchen that cares about quality.

Indulgence from morning to night
The day begins with a varied breakfast from the buffet: warm pastries, fresh products, sweet and savory treats, coffee and a glass of Prosecco - plus freshly prepared egg dishes.
A special highlight is the famous Sunday brunch - a little bit more of everything. The breakfast is extended to include hot & cold specialties: from traditional classics such as Leberkäse & white sausages to sweet pancakes and much more. Ideal for an enjoyable Sunday with family, friends or as a brunch date.

In the evening, the 4-course gourmet menu is the culinary centerpiece. There is a choice of meat, fish and vegetarian dishes - vegan requests can be flexibly accommodated by the kitchen team.
A seasonal à la carte menu complements the offer all year round. It evolves with the seasons - from wild garlic in spring and light summer dishes to pumpkin in fall or fish during Lent.

Room for good things
Dishes are served in three different dining rooms: the Ursprungstube with access to the bowling alley, the modern Landhausstube and the Schafbergstube with lots of wood and a fireplace. Each one is independent, but together they follow a clear objective: to create the perfect setting for good food. The wine grotto complements the culinary experience and invites you to choose the right wine at your leisure - even before dinner.
