Where can you still find traditional home-style cooking and brewing at the highest level? In the Innviertel, of course. At the Englwirt, the church inn in Altheim, you can enjoy the widely renowned Burgundian beef roast. The meat comes from Simmental cattle raised on a neighboring farm (the Kreil family, Werntal-Weng), and a delicious Raschhofer Zwickl is the perfect accompaniment. Traditionally brewed in a direct-fired copper kettle, it has already won the European Beer Star award three times and can proudly call itself Europe’s best Zwickl. A true Zwickl, bottled directly from the storage tank with a silky sheen and a full-bodied flavor on the palate.
