The Bräugasthof in Hallstatt was first mentioned in a document as early as 1472. The Lobisser-Höplinger family has lived in and managed the historic and authentic house for 150 years and will spoil you with culinary delights from the region.
Gastronomy with history
In 1504, Emperor Maximilian 1 stayed in the old mining town of Hallstatt and granted the house the right to brew beer. A brewing right that was exercised until 1907.
What has remained to this day is the cozy atmosphere of an ancient inn and the essence of a family-run business that has been able to preserve its tradition over the centuries while offering its guests the amenities and comforts of our age.
