Day 1 - Individual arrival in Obermühl/Untermühl
Your MTB vacation begins on the banks of the Danube in Untermühl/Obermühl. After your arrival, you will check into your room and receive your luggage tags. You will be welcomed with a small, regional Mühlviertel beer. Hotel example: Gasthof Gierlinger in Obermühl

Day 2 - From Obermühl /Untermühl to Oberkappel, approx. 45 km, 1,200 m elevation gain
Obermühl/Untermühl-Kleinzell-Obermühl-Lembach-Putzleinsdorf-Schlögener Donauschlinge-Niederranna-Hofkirchen-Pfarrkirchen-Schloss Altenhof-Oberkappel. The first stage of your multi-day mountain bike tour takes you from Obermühl up to the Donauleiten. The route leads through the idyllic valley of the Kleine Mühl and offers numerous challenges for enthusiastic mountain bikers. Look forward to a fast-paced tour with a spectacular downhill into the Danube valley. Enjoy the view of the famous Schlögener Donauschlinge and cycle further along the Danube cycle path. Via Hofkirchen, the panoramic views take you to Oberkappel, where you can enjoy a well-deserved break with a welcome beer after another descent. Hotel example:: Hotel-Gasthof Süß in Oberkappel

Day 3 - From Oberkappel to Peilstein, approx. 55 km, 1,300 m elevation gain
Oberkappel-Ameisberg-Kollerschlag-Kohlstatt-Golfpark Böhmerwald-Julbach-Peilstein. Today's section in granite country takes you up the Ameisberg (940 m), which offers you a magnificent view over the Mühlviertel. The route continues to Kollerschlag and the Bavarian-Austrian border. After a leisurely section through the Böhmerwald golf park and past the "Meran of the Mühlviertel", you reach Peilstein, where you can round off the stage with a refreshing beer in the guest garden. Day 4 - From Peilstein to Obermühl/Untermühl, approx. 60 km, 1,400 m elevation gain, individual journey home
Peilstein-Brezerhaus-Sarleinsbach-Neufelden-Kleinzell-St. Martin-Untermühl/Obermühl. On the last day of your MTB vacation, you ride over the Kühstein to Rutzersdorf. The route takes you through the heart of the Granitbierrunde and lets you mountain bike on natural paths from Sarleinsbach to Atzesberg. Enjoy the wonderful descent via Maria Bründl to Neundling and continue cycling through the hop fields, which provide the natural product for the regional beer specialties. After a final stop at the Hofstetten brewery, you finally reach the starting point of your mountain bike tour in Untermühl/Obermühl. Luggage return by 5.30 pm at the latest.
