Media workshop Live TV broadcast

The examination of media content as well as independent production generally raises awareness in dealing with media.

The group produces and designs its own TV show, which is also broadcast live on DORFTV if required. Together, the programme is prepared and carried out during the workshop, and the participants can try out various roles (e.g. camera, moderation,...). The participants can prepare and bring along their own content focus/theme.

Workshop procedure: Introduction to DORFTV, general information on TV production, roles/tasks/team, camera and sound (exercises), finding topics/guests, moderation, live direction (live editing), rehearsal, (live) broadcast, presentation and conclusion.

Young people grow up with digital information technologies and have different experiences in everyday life, especially with social media applications. In order to promote a reflective debate, target group-oriented offers for teaching media competence are necessary. In addition to the acquisition of editorial and technical skills, this also includes a critical view of media development and the understanding of freedom of opinion as an important democratic prerequisite.
