In the Linz Palace Museum, visitors can look forward to numerous collections of cultural history on their journey through the history and culture of Upper Austria.

Spanning over 10,000 m² of exhibition space, the Linz Castle Museum offers a comprehensive overview of Upper Austria’s natural, cultural, and art history, from prehistory and early history through to the 21st century.

For school groups, the museum’s permanent exhibitions offer programs on the following topics:
- Nature in Upper Austria
- Technology in Upper Austria
- Archaeology

In addition, special exhibitions highlight current international and regional topics, as well as themes related to culture, nature, and contemporary history.
