Grand city tour The meeting point is the Old Town Hall on Grein's town square. The tour begins with an insight into the long and eventful history of the town and its shipping industry. The tour of Grein's outstanding sights begins with a visit to the late Gothic parish church. You will visit the historic town theatre, the oldest civic theatre in Austria with its unique barrier seats, the Napoleon Lodge and much more. After a 10-minute walk through the castle park, we reach Greinburg Castle, the oldest residential castle in Austria, with its impressive Renaissance arcade courtyard and unique rooms such as the late Gothic cell vault, the Sala Terrena and the imposing Knights' Hall: May to October by prior arrangement

Bus parking: It is possible to let guests off at the town square, the bus must park at the Donaulände (approx. 5-minute walk).
