Travelling with a different star

The vintage bus is the hobby of our boss, Thomas Messinger. He was looking for a suitable addition and niche for his travel agency and coach company. In 2009, he started a new project with a lot of dedication and with more than 1,000 individual parts and more than 5,000 hours of work, he completed the "Vintage Bus" project in the summer of 2011. In May 2021 we will add another special vehicle to our fleet of vintage buses.

We will take you to the most exquisite places of the Salzkammergut and Austria - experience nostalgia, customs, culture, combined with culinary delicacies on request.

You and your guests can experience the romance of the good old days and travel in a very special way. From the first to the last minute, you will be travelling, not racing. Enjoy the luxury of slowness and deceleration. Sitting in the original feather-core seats, you and your group will soon be chatting and socialising.
Our red and beige vintage Mercedes O 321 H, built in 1963, and our new 'family member', the turmeric and ivory Mercedes O 321HL, built in 1960, have been completely overhauled and restored to their original condition with great attention to detail. Both can seat 37 passengers on newly upholstered leather seats. Our "oldies" are a real eye-catcher thanks to the panoramic windows, the elaborate roof rack, the gleaming chrome trim and the many small details inside the bus (speedometer, clock, curtains, etc.). Musical entertainment is provided by an original Blaupunkt Munich radio and a modern MP3 player.

Ride in a vintage bus to the beautiful Traunsee town of Gmunden. In the traditional Gmunden ceramics manufactory you will be shown how much love goes into each piece - from throwing, glazing, painting and flaming. The Grünberg cable car takes us up to the 1000m high plateau. Use the time to hike or enjoy the magnificent view. Your day programme includes

The Vintage Bus is a special product with a six month rental period. Please understand that the following cancellation conditions apply:

from registration to 22nd day before departure - 40%.
from the 21st to the 15th day before departure..............50%.
from the 14th to the 08th day before departure.....................75%
from the 07th day before departure..............................100%.
