Experience of the senses in the Botanical Garden

The Linz Botanical Garden is one of the most beautiful gardens of its kind in Europe. Approximately 10,000 different plant species can be seen on 4.2 ha. So your group experience becomes a nature experience! Exotic plants in particular unfold their splendour in five greenhouses. The garden is a leader in Europe with its unique protective collection of cacti. The rare wild species and beautiful cultivars of orchids are among the hallmarks of the Linz garden. Special shows and exhibitions all year round always provide special activities.

The Botanical Garden combines nature and culture. Sculptures by Austrian artists amidst the greenery and a varied programme of lectures, exhibitions and events make the garden a place where people and culture meet. Culinary delights are provided by Café Orchidee with seating terraces and a view of the greenery.
