Day 1 - Individual arrival in Passau
The cycling holidays start in Passau. Check-in and you receive your travel documents. Handover of your rented bike for your bike tour takes place in our bike center in Passau. Example of hotel: IBB Hotel Passau Süd*** in Passau
Day 2 - From Passau to Feldkirchen/Aschach, approx. 70 km
A great variety in landscape awaits you along today's cycle route. Cycling via the Upper Danube Valley in direction Engelhartszell, have a break at Engelszell Monastery and try some delicious liqueurs produced by the monks. Continue along the Danube cycle path via the Schlögener Schlinge to the lovely town of Aschach. Example of hotel: Gasthof Sonne*** in Aschach
Day 3 - From Feldkirchen/Aschach to Grein, approx. 85 km
Follow the bike route through the Eferdinger Becken before cycling towards the vibrant city of Linz. After a short stop in the Capital of Upper Austria, continue to the picturesque baroque town of Grein. Example of hotel: Gasthof zur Traube*** in Grein
Day 4 - From Grein to Krems, approx. 85 km
The Danube cycle path leads through impressive landscapes of the Strudengau and Nibelungengau before cycling towards the Wachau Valley with its well-known towns such as Weißenkirchen, Spitz and Dürnstein. Example of hotel: Gasthof zum Goldenen Engel*** in Krems
Day 5 - From Krems to Vienna, approx. 80 km
The last cycling day leads via the Roman town of Tulln and Klosterneuburg to Vienna, Danube's metropolis and capital of Austria, where your cycling tour ends. Example of hotel: Arcotel Kaiserwasser**** in Vienna
Day 6 - Return transfer to Passau or extra nights
Return from your cycling holidays along River Danube's cycle path to Passau, in Season A and B by train (transfer of your own bike not included), in season C by bus (transfer of your own bikes included) or on request by train (transfer of your own bikes not included).
