Day 1 - Arrive and feel good in Passau
Your cycle tour begins in the three-river city of Passau, where the Danube, Inn and Ilz meet. After checking into your room in the stylish hotel, a first touch of relaxation awaits you in the small but exquisite wellness area - perfect for relaxing after your journey. The travel documents will be handed over at the hotel, and those who have booked rental bikes will receive them at our bike counter. The evening is all yours - perhaps with a walk along the Danube or a cozy dinner in the historic old town.

Day 2 - From Passau to the Schlögener Schlinge, approx. 50 km
Today you cycle along one of the most beautiful sections of the Danube Cycle Path - a real highlight for any cycling vacation in Austria. Through the unspoilt Upper Danube Valley with its steep slopes and green forests, you cycle downstream past Engelszell Abbey to the spectacular Schlögener Schlinge, where the Danube winds its way through the valley in a dramatic twist. This stage of your cycle tour offers impressive nature experiences and unforgettable views. Your destination is a hotel in or around Schlögen, where you can recharge your batteries in the sauna or relaxation area.

Day 3 - From the Schlögener Schlinge to Linz, approx. 45 km
Gentle hills, dense forests and wide fields accompany you as you cycle along the Danube Cycle Path towards Linz, the capital of Upper Austria. This stage of your cycle tour takes you through the fertile Eferding Basin before you experience the modern art and culture scene of Linz. In the afternoon, the spacious sauna world of the Parkbad fitness oasis invites you to relax - the perfect balance after an active day on the bike. Enjoy urban comfort in a relaxed atmosphere at the stylish city hotel.

Day 4 - From Linz to Grein/Bad Kreuzen, approx. 60 km
Start the day with a short sightseeing tour of Linz before continuing your cycle tour along the Danube cycle path. The route takes you through unspoiled riverside landscapes and historic towns. Once you arrive in Grein, the charming little boat town with its baroque flair awaits you. After a varied day, you can relax in your hotel - nestled in the green hilly landscape of Grein or Bad Kreuzen.

Day 5 - Through the Nibelungengau to the Wachau, approx. 65 km + boat trip
Today's stage of your cycling vacation takes you through the legendary landscapes of the Strudengau and Nibelungengau, where steep banks and small castles characterize the landscape. In Melk, you board a Danube boat and glide leisurely through the heart of the Wachau - past vineyards, castle ruins and picturesque villages to Spitz. From here you cycle on to Krems. An elegant hotel with wellness area awaits you.

Day 6 - From the Wachau to the imperial city of Vienna, approx. 45 km + train ride
After breakfast, you leave the romantic Wachau and cycle leisurely along the Danube through the Tullnerfeld to the garden city of Tulln - a charming stage with sweeping views of the rolling hills of the wine region. From here, the train takes you directly to the imperial capital of Vienna. World culture, a coffee house atmosphere and imperial flair await you at the destination of your cycle tour.

Day 7 - Return to Passau or extension
After eventful days along the Danube, it's time to say goodbye today. In seasons A and B, the return journey is in comfort by train (please note: your own bikes are not included). In season C, you travel back to Passau in comfort by bus - bike transportation is included here. Alternatively, a return journey by train is also possible on request. If you don't want to part ways just yet, you can book one or more additional nights in Vienna to round off your cycling vacation in a relaxed manner.
