The 4-day WALDNESS school offer "Forest Adventure" in the Traunsee-Almtal region in the Salzkammergut includes an extensive forest and adventure education program led by WALDNESS.coaches.

WALDNESS® is relaxation and recreation for body, mind and soul, enjoyment and exercise in the midst of magnificent trees, crystal-clear mountain water, sunny alpine pastures and fragrant flower meadows in the 1st WALDNESS destination in Europe, in the Almtal in the Traunsee-Almtal region in the Salzkammergut.Forest bathing (森林浴 Shinrin-yoku), usually translated as breathing in the healthy forest atmosphere during a forest walk, has been part of a good lifestyle in Japan for more than 20 years.
Spending time in the forest has a positive effect on our health on many levels, similar to aromatherapy: the immune system is strengthened, stress hormones are reduced and the quality of sleep improves.
WALDNESS® implements current Austrian and international studies on the healing power of the forest with experts and shows you many ways how you can best use the forest atmosphere for yourself and your health.

Sustainable vacation: 130,000 trees are planted in the Almtal every year - almost 80 percent of the municipal area of Grünau is covered with forest.
We look forward to your arrival with the Almtalbahn. We are happy to organize a shuttle service on site or offer our Salzkammergut Shuttle Service.

with a transfer by public transport and a short hike.
The afternoon and evening are at your leisure.
There are numerous sights and excursion destinations in the Traunsee-Almtal region that are well worth a visit. Especially in the year of the European Capital of Culture Bad Ischl and the Salzkammergut, there are also numerous interesting cultural events and exhibitions.
For example, the Bartlhaus Writing and Printing Museum in Pettenbach, or the Moosmenschen exhibition in the Gmundner Keramik, and much more.

The remaining payment is made at the earliest 20 days before the start of the trip - step by step against delivery of the travel documents to the traveler.
