Centuries ago, workers at the Styrian Erzberg were supplied with provisions on the "provisions route" over the Hengstpaß and carried "provisions iron" on their return journey in return.

We hike across the alpine pastures on the Hengstpaß with magnificent views of the Kampermauer and Haller Mauern.
 The "Hengsti" shows the way and invites you to discover the colourful diversity at every turn "from alpine pasture to alpine pasture".
